The two leaders expressed a shared intent to broaden partnerships in innovative areas, specifically highlighting sectors like AI, aerospace, and clean energy. Furthermore, they committed to accelerating significant infrastructure endeavors, such as the China-Thailand railway project and the expansive rail networks linking China, Laos, and Thailand.
In addition to economic and technological cooperation, the leaders vowed to intensify efforts in combating transnational crimes, including issues like online gambling and telecommunications fraud. This commitment extends to strengthening ties in other sectors, notably tourism, education, and media.
Thailand reiterated its endorsement of the one-China policy during the talks, a stance that remains a cornerstone of its foreign policy with China. Both nations also emphasized their commitment to peaceful resolutions in addressing regional challenges, with specific reference to the ongoing situation at the Thailand-Cambodia border.
