They underscored the significance of upcoming anniversaries, such as the 50th anniversary of their defense ties set for 2026 and the 60th anniversary of the Currency Interchangeability Agreement scheduled for 2027.
In their discussions, Lee and the Sultan explored various areas for expanded collaboration, including energy, food security, and supply chain resilience. The importance of fostering people-to-people exchanges was also a key topic, highlighting both nations’ desire to deepen connections between their citizens.
